Skin blisters are a nuisance for the people that have it as well as those people around them as they are highly contagious. Anti-viral creams and lotions used immediately may shorten an attack. All attacks of genital herpes are infectious so sufferers should avoid having sex during attacks. Using protection during sex can lessen the risk of infection. Occurrence of genital herpes during pregnancy can be very serious as an infected mother can pass on the infection to her baby
There are other skin disorders that people confuse with herpes so it is important to get your herpes checked by a physician so that proper treatment could be started.
